Shaastra 2008 will be following a strict certificate policy to ensure the value and significance of a Shaastra certificate is preserved and does not get diluted due to the steadily increasing number of participants every year.

1. No workshop participant will be given any certificate of participation unless it is specifically mentioned in the website. In the event it is mentioned, it will be only for workshops which are not open to all and have a pre-Shaastra procedure for selecting participants.
2. For competitive events, certificates will be issued only for the teams coming first, second and third. In case of team events, individual team members of the top 3 teams will get a certificate each.
3. No certificates will be issued for participation in individual competitive events.
4. For events Robotics, Fire N' ICE and Junkyard wars, all final round participants will be issued certificates. No other team will be issued certificates for these events.
5. All the finalists of Shaastra Golden Design Challenges will be issued individual certificates.
6. Each and every Shaastra 2008 participant will be issued a general Letter of Participation which will take care of their attendance issues in their individual colleges.
7. There will be no deviation from the above rules unless it is specifically mentioned for any event.
8. In the event of any unforeseen conflict, the decision of the Shaastra Events Core will be final and binding on all participants.
