Aesthetique

Introduction

"There's no particular evidence that any of the lower mammals or any of the other animals have any interest in aesthetics at all. But Homo sapiens does, always has and always will."-Jock Sturges

The one quality about a well engineered product that invariably attracts our attention is its Aesthetics. Aesthetics has become the key ingredient to the success of any product and is as important a factor as its actual working. The most successful products of the century i-pod per say – are credited to their extraordinary pleasing aesthetics.

Aesthetique is an event that gives wings to the stupendous power of imagination of human mind. The event which brings forth the best in you and gives you the freedom to venture beyond your horizons! The challenge is to push your imagination to design a product keeping in mind its aesthetics and ergonomics without affecting the technical abilities of the product. The event also provides a great opportunity for students to try clay modeling, the way it is presently done in the industry.
