Boomerang

Introduction

Do you remember the days when you watched Mowgli and wondered whether the boomerang actually comes back? Probably you must have convinced yourself (or someone convinced you) that it is not possible to do that with a piece of wood. Well, if you that is what has happened to you this workshop is going to be a surprise. You are going to see for yourself that a piece of wood can be made to come back when you throw it. We are going to show this for real and tell you the secret behind it. That's not all some of you will get a chance to make a boomerang for yourself during the hands on session.

Format

The workshop will be of three parts. The first part is a presentation on how the boomerang works. We are going to share our experience with the boomerangs.
The second part is a hands on session in which you get a chance to make a boomerang yourself. Because of organizational constraints we can provide this chance only to a few people. This part needs preregistration. The details of the registration will be put up soon.
The third part is where you are going to see the proof of the pudding. This is a throw session where you are going to throw the boomerangs you have made and see the magic for yourself.
