Entrepreneurship

E - Workshops

Introduction

New enterprises featuring innovation in concept and implementation are essential to keep the momentum of “Rising India” going!

If you are the next “ R Subramaniam ”waiting to unleash a revolution like “Subhiksha” and confused about how should you do it then this is the chance for you!

There is an adage which believes that the best learning is the one attained by doing. Theory and textbooks can only get you that far, there are several things that books can’t teach. This holds good for entrepreneurial skills like it does for any other skill. With competition growing intense and consumers becoming savvier and value conscious, there is almost no margin for error. This Entrepreneurship Workshop @ Shaastra 2008 is aimed at giving some hands on experience in this regard

In the past editions, similar workshops have helped participants acquire both hard skills (such as finance, marketing, and accounting) and soft skills (such as public speaking, leadership, and networking) needed to excel in a business environment. Last year's workshop focused on helping budding entrepreneurs identify and study markets and come up with products to suit the targets accordingly.

This year, we intend to take up one key ingredient involved in the building of a successful venture, the team. For a nascent idea, it is the team that nurtures and delivers it that is of utmost importance. Different ideologies and differing personalities need to work in coordination, complementing each other, to produce the desired results. The E-Workshop this year shall focus on hands on team building. The workshop will help you strengthen problem solving muscles, take on responsibilities and accelerate results with greater ease.

Join us for this hands-on workshop tailored for budding entrepreneurs and learn how to solve HR dilemmas in real time using easy yet powerful techniques.
