Golden Design Challenges

Introduction

Design is in everything we make, but it’s also between those things. It's a mix of craft, science, storytelling, propaganda, and philosophy. - Erik Adigard

This Shaastra, we present you with a unique opportunity. Put your genius to work in designing solutions to problems that impact society. We call upon the finest brains of the country to do something, as big as envisioning a city's transportation network, to a task as basic as resolving the mosquito menace. Designing a speed detector calls for the best in engineering skills, while the seemingly simple challenge of creating a new type of water filter demands innovative ability.

At Shaastra, we believe in investing in creative ideas. This is your chance to catch the eye of industry and translate an idea into a product.

Widespread fame and recognition, along with six digit cash prizes, await the winners. Leave no stone unturned, because when it comes to the Golden Design Challenges, it isn't enough to just roll the symbolic dice. You have to ensure that two and two make four.

Please check the Water Filter Challenge section below for some updates!
