The Hackfest is a group coding initiative that will be spread over all the four days of Shaastra, beginning every evening and extending well into the night. A FOSS project will be picked and hackers will organize themselves into groups to work on fixing bugs or adding new features to the project. Minimum pre-requisites are knowledge of programming, especially with the language of the project. Good experience in FOSS development will help. Selection procedures, if any, will be intimated later. Of course, there will be grabs for successful bugfixes or other code contributions!
