“Almost everything in business eventually boils down to the dollar sign”
No one is immune to the effects of financial decisions today. From stock market’s trading desks to the corporate conference rooms, no decision is complete without appreciating its financial implications. All segments of society, employees, entrepreneurs and administrators alike have to have a degree of financial knowledge.
And with the young engineering and management graduates vying for the highly rewarding jobs in finance sector, and aiming to become administrators and entrepreneurs themselves, we give them a chance to learn and showcase their finance skills.
For the first time in Shaastra we are introducing an event-cum-workshop, which is aimed at bringing out the investor in you. The workshop is so designed that it let’s people with acumen in finance management showcase their finance and investment skills by competing with the fellow participants at different stages of the workshop. At the same time we want people who have an inclination towards this field but haven’t yet got an opportunity to learn more about it to take advantage of this workshop.
The event consists of a lecture series and a simulation game
The lectures are open for all.
The registration for the prelims for the Simulation Game will be done on 02 October 2008 at the Hospitality Desk.
