PEM Fuel Cells Workshop
PEM fuel cells have been in the spotlight as potential candidates to satisfy our future energy needs. The advantages are appealing: clean and sustainable energy. However, none of this is as easy as it appears. This workshop aims at exposing the enthusiast to the state of the art and key challenges as far as PEM fuel cell technology is concerned. The programme will cover various aspects of the technology including catalysis, membrane, hydrogen storage and systems issues through a series of lectures. These will be supplemented by laboratory visits and demonstrations at the experimental facilities of IIT Madras.

Is registration required for attending the workshop?
The lectures are open to all. The demonstrations and lab visits are only for those who have been screened through the registration process.
- How is one screened for the demonstrations/ lab visits?
The screening is based on your response to the questions posed. Efforts will also be made to include as many non-IITM participants as possible.
