Project-X is one of the major crowd pulling events of Shaastra every year.This hands-on event which contains problems involving application of basic principles of science,is a team event comprising of a maximum of 3 participants per team.The problem statement will be announced on the spot and the required material will also be provided to all teams.Rules and regulations will depend on the problem statement and the participants will be informed of the same.There will be a time limit for the event.The testing/winning criteria will be given along with the problem statement and winners will be decided on the spot.
No online pre-registration is required for this event.The participants need to exercise their grey-cells and need to think out of the box to optimize on the material they are given.Project-X is all about using your hands-on skills and craftsmanship to your advantage.This event also boasts of being one of the few events in Shaastra which does not require any pre-requisites or intense technical knowledge.
Project-X is all about having fun,thinking innovatively and using simple principles of science effectively.So for all of you to whom science is interesting,and for those of you who enjoy demonstrating basic principles and most of all are enthusiastic about seeing them work,this is for you!!!
Proper instructions will be given at the time of the event. The testing/winning criteria of the models would be provided during the time of the event depending upon the problem statements.
