Introduction

Boast all about it, but is the practicality worth mentioning? Nascent as it is, GPS holds vast potential for a variety of implementations and practical use. GPS has become a widely used aid to navigation worldwide, and a useful tool for map-making, land surveying, commerce, scientific uses, and hobbies such as geocaching. GPS also provides a precise time reference used in many applications including scientific study of earthquakes, and synchronization of telecommunications networks.
Here's a chance to tap the untapped and start a revolution of cellphones creating a landmark in the yet-to-be-written history, implementing all the practical implementations like finding a restaurant of your choice or locating a taxi service and what not. The platform is set and the audience is waiting for a showcase of unrestrained imagination but a realistic one nonetheless! Come up with the top value added service, based on GPS and 3G CDMA technologies, simple enough to survive in the Indian market. Send in your responses in a presentation format (ppt or pdf) not exceeding 12 slides. Your presentations should talk about the idea, advantages, market, competition, finances and risks.
