Emergency Exit

The policy document and problem statements have been modified on 13.08.08. Please note the changes.

Automated machines are the order of the day. Micro Air Vehicles, space probes and mine detectors are but a few examples of the applications of the ever expanding field of Robotics. Robotics @ Shaastra is your chance to be a part of this great wave of technology by building your own automated bots. Shaastra Robotics is a fantastic experience altogether with teams from all over India participating with a turnout of around 800 participants estimated last year. This year, being the golden jubilee of IITM, Robotics takes on a whole new dimension, getting bigger, tougher and with increased prize money. For the first time since Shaastra began will robotics include aspects of Image Processing and AI!!. This time around, the problems promise to have a greater engineering flavor to them too ,celebrating fifty years of IITM. So take a look at the problem statements and pick the one that interests you the most, and go for gold.

Participants from Hyderabad and Chennai
