What will be the ASCII value of EOF
Is it -1 or 0?

Subject: What will be the ASCII value of EOF
I used the brainfuck interpreter koti.mbnet.... and I assumed EOF to be 0 and worked on and got proper results.
Can I assume EOF is 0 and submit my answers or is EOF necessarily -1?
