1. How many times have you heard the statement 'out of the box thinking?'
Though it may appear cliched, but that is what we do and promote at Shaastra: innovative thinking and creative solutions. The logo is our way of saying the same. 'Out of the box' is out, 'out of the dice' is in! Indeed, it is a dice, yet different from conventional ones, due to the same number on each face. The logo reflects every 'face' of Shaastra.

2. Who can forget the legendary statement, 'God doesn't play dice'?
Here at Shaastra, we leave nothing to chance. Try hard you may, roll it in whatever way, but this dice will always give you the same number. There is no uncertainty in this dice. Everything is ordered. This is a tribute to Einstein's famous quote "God doesn't play dice with the universe". Certainly he doesn't, and thats quite certain. Is that not what we engineers do too? We make sure that every equation, every building, every machine, every code, everything is engineered with certainty.

3. However hard we may try, we can't achieve perfect symmetry. Note that the two dots on the rightmost face of the right cube are not a mirror image of the same in left cube, while everything else is.
Tribute to Feynman: we try to remove all uncertainty, induce perfect symmetry and strive for perfection. But humans can't be Gods. Something, however tiny bit it may be, always eludes us. This fact constantly reminds us that we should not be jealous of God's perfection.
