Super manager_Event format
Super Manager is an online team (of 3) event that will kick-off nearly three weeks before the start of Shaastra 2009. The event aims to test the managerial skills of the participants. In this event, the participants will be consultants for a fictional IPL cricket team (in a fictional setting). Their job will be to assist the team in making the best possible choices in terms of hiring players, managing assets, finding avenues for publicity, minimising tax returns, exploiting hedging conditions and so on. These question will be in the form of mini assignments given every 2/3 days and the questions will be objective type (The answers to some of the questions will be subjective, while most others will involve basic concepts and calculation). For each suitable (read correct) piece of advice given by the participants, they will be paid a certain amount of (fictional) money by the IPL team. All these points will add up to decide the top three teams.
The teams will be given necessary background information in the form of new items, e-mails, and relevant company (IPL team) material. They will also have some initiatives that they can use if they do not know the required concepts. These, however, will cost a certain amount of the fictional money, and will help but NOT solve the questions. Therefore, participants need to 'buy' these initiatives wisely

Will this game follow the performance of the IPL team?
No, it will be based completely on the business acumen of the participants. The questions will be based on asset management and will not relate to making decisions relating to the teams performance in the tournament.

This is team event. There must be 3 members in a team.
Any team member may answer the questions for a team
Teams may not necessarily be from the same institution.
