When you’re one of the best, innovation is the forte. Impossible is nothing. All hassles are mere trifles. And all competitors are meant to be trodden over.
In its 11th edition, Shaastra presents to the students of Gujarat, the ultimate robotics challenge, a second round entry to one of the best robotics competitions in the country (Think robotics, think Shaastra, think no more). Ever felt that you were missing out on one of the most sought after fests in the country purely on account of distance? Well, fret no more.
Sampark, the new initiative of Shaastra, to reach out to students across the country will take place this year in Surat on 19th September. It will comprise of four events – robotics workshop, a mellowed down junkyard wars, Puzzle Championship and the Short Circuit.

Incentives are available a-plenty and all you need to do is be there in SVNIT, Surat on the 19th of September and give it your best shot.
Swine flu is out, Sampark is in.
Note: Entry to the above mentioned events for participants of Gujarat can be both through Sampark and through the general Shaastra procedure.

- Sampark will be conducted Surat [SVNIT Surat], 19th of September, 2009.
- Students from any college of Gujarat are eligible to participate in Sampark Surat. These region will be regarded as “Gujarat Region” hereafter.
- The students of Gujarat region can gain an entry to Shaastra through the normal procedure of TDP submission on the User portal.
- The Robotics Workshop will be having a suration of about 3 hours. Those who wish to attend should register on the user portal on or before 16th Sept. One can participate in teams of 3 or 4.
- A maximum of 20 teams will be selected based on first come first serve basis.
