What is pentathlon?
Pentathlon involves a series of five challenges which the teams have to successfully complete to win the event. The challenges will be predominantly hands on with the application of engineering skills, simple mathematics and a lot of common sense. Participating teams will have to successfully finish each challenge to move on to the next challenge. Only limited number of team will proceed from each round, hence it is a test of your speed along with your skills.
- Teams must consist of 3-4 members.
- Each round will have a set of rules to be followed which will be mentioned before the starting of the round.
- Participants need not bring any equipment/stationary and the required equipment will be provided.
- The decision of coordinators is final and binding.
- Teams indulging in any sort of unfair means will be disqualified from the event immediately.
- There is no restriction on the branch, year and college of the participants. In fact it would be useful if the team consists of participants from different branches.
- In case of any accident or mishap the participants hold complete responsibility and the event coordinators cannot be held responsible.
1) How do we register for the event?
Registrations will open a day before the event and you can register at the hospitality desk. Participants can also register just before the event at the venue of the event.
Tho there is no necessity for pre-registeration,as the number of participants is limited and selection of participants is on a first come first serve basis,it is advisable if the teams register before hand.
2) For how many days is the event?
The event is scheduled to be completed in one day. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the event will be extended to the next day.
